Supplier verification

What the verified badge means, what it actually checks, and how the review process works.

A Verified Supplier has passed a multi-point check before the badge ever appears on their profile: GST number validation against government records, a PAN check, confirmation of their registered business address, and a working contact verification call or message. Each of these is reviewed individually, not just rubber-stamped as a set.

Suppliers submit these documents from Dashboard → Verification, uploading the relevant certificate or ID for each check. From there, our admin team reviews the submission by hand — this typically takes 1–3 business days, though it can take longer if a document is unclear or a detail doesn't match what's on file, in which case the supplier is asked to resubmit.

Once approved, the verification badge appears everywhere that supplier shows up on the platform — their product cards in search and category listings, their full supplier profile page, and any quotation they send you — so you can see the trust signal at a glance without having to dig for it.

It's worth being clear about what verification is not: it confirms the business is real and its registration details check out, but it is not an endorsement of product quality, pricing fairness, or delivery reliability. Always request and approve a sample, and agree terms in writing, before committing to a large order — verification reduces risk, it doesn't remove it.
